As a part of the Cal CED Summer Institute - InLand program, this project engages in the evolving discourse of landscape architecture as a critical and generative practice—one that responds to the entangled conditions of climate, culture, and material ecologies. Framed by the site of Sausal Creek in Oakland, we treated the landscape not as a backdrop, but as an active socio-ecological system —a space of negotiation, resistance, regeneration, and performance.
